Scholarships available for Nationals. If your athlete attended USASA Nationals for snowboarding or freeride, you can request a $100 scholarship from foundation for entry fee assistance. Please provide the following information:
Name
Age Group
Comp Group at Nationals
Events Competed
Days Competed.
Example: Maddie Bowman, skier girl 11-15 was in comp group 5 and competed in pipe, slope, and skiercross days 2,3,4 of nationals.
Deadline to apply by email is April 30 2009.
We had great success at USASA Nationals again this year, bringing home most likely more medals than any other series in the nation. Go to www.usasa.org to check complete results.
End of Year BBQ set for April 19th!
We will have a BBQ for alpine freeride and snowboard April 19th on the upper deck, probably at noon. Exact time and details to follow. We will offer BBQ items be potlucking the side dishes. Sally Ewing is coordinating the event and can be reached at sallyewing@sbcglobal.net
